St Patrick’s Day Crafts for Elementary Kids

Other than wearing a green shirt, I haven’t done a whole lot to celebrate St Patrick’s Day since I was in college. Frankly, watching the entire student body stumble into 9am classes in their festive, drunken glory was always fun to watch. Especially considering it was a dry campus. But I digress.

Having kid in the house certainly gives reason to be more festive for every holiday. That’s why I’m looking forward to coming up with crafts and treats to celebrate all things shamrock, leprechaun, and pot o’gold.

Here are some of the craft ideas I’ve found that are perfect to do with preschool and elementary age kids. Which one is your favorite?

I can’t believe these adorable treat ups are actually upcycled yogurt containers!

My bright and colorful shamrock cookies are a unique playful twist on St Patrick’s day fun

These “You Are the Pot of Gold” printable tags are super adorable!

Leprechaun Photo Magnets are the funniest, cutest, best present you’ll give Grandma this year. Promise!

This handwriting printable page is a great tool for extra practice for early learners working on printing letters

If you have a Cricut, you HAVE to make these adorable Iron-On Vinyl Shamrock Shirts!

You know we’re dog lovers in this house, so this Shamrock Puppy was certain to make the list.

This Fill Your Pot of Gold counting activity can easily be altered to fit your child’s academic level. Addition, multiplication, rhyming words, spelling words, etc. Lots and lots of options!

How do you celebrate St Patrick’s day at your house?
