Before coming to live with us, Hayla had never been to the dentist. With five cavities needing fillings and a very nervous five-year-old, going to the dentist for the first time was a learning experience for all of us. It’s important to make sure kids feel confident and safe with routine dental visits, so here are a few tips we’ve learned along the way to help make the experience of a first dental visit less scary.
